Laurel "Lori" Dudder
February 6, 1973 - July 23, 2016
DUDDER, Laurel Anne (Lori)
Our precious Lori passed away in her sleep on Saturday, July 23, 2016. She is survived by her parents Bob and Sharon Dudder; her sisters Lee (Ron) Ager and Jill Dudder; her brothers David Dudder and James (Annie) Dudder; her nephews and nieces Jeff, George, Annika, Kami, Levi, and her grandnephew Kieran.
Lori was born in Calgary in 1973 and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She had a successful career in advertising, most recently at AdFarm as a Media Planner and Buyer. She was a staunch supporter of the Canadian Blood Services and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
She was the family’s “go to” girl, always willing and ever able to help. Being a daughter, sister, aunt and godmother was her joy. We are all blessed to have been touched by her love.
We will fondly remember her zest for life, her love of family gatherings, of great food and her fetish for shoes. Lori had a savvy sense of humor and a quick wit and, because of that, her friends undeniably outnumbered those shoes. We will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Lori’s Life will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Eden Brook Funeral Home (corner of 17th Avenue SW and Lower Springbank Road).
The following day, the 9:00 am mass will be dedicated to Lori at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive NW). Family members and friends are all welcome.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Canadian Blood Services.
