<div itemprop="description">KOTYLAK, Myrtle Agnes nee: Schuster<br>April 24, 1936- November 8, 2016<br>Lipton, Saskatchewan- Calgary, Alberta<br><br><br>Our beloved Myrt passed away peacefully at the South Campus Hospital in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the age of 80 years. <br><br>She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Rodney Schuster and her infant son Mark. Myrt will be remembered by her husband Mathew; her daughters Michelle and Marilyn (Rob) Hoffmann; her sister Marj Eckert; brother Gordon (Gloria) Schuster; her seven grandchildren Lauren, Maddie, Mathew, Natalie, Ely, Nathan and Isabelle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. <br><br>Myrt was a kind and selfless women who excelled at her career in social work. She was proud to be a founding member of Parent’s Anonymous which later evolved into the Children’s Cottage. She also loved to garden, sew, quilt, paint, and cake decorate, but her biggest passion in life was taking care of her grandchildren and the ones she loved.<br><br>A Visitation will take place on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Eden Brook Funeral Home (corner of 17th Avenue SW and Lower Springbank Road). A Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Eden Brook Funeral Home with a Reception to follow.<br><br>Memorial donations may be made in Myrtle’s name to the Children’s Cottage (http://childrenscottage.ab.ca/).
