<div itemprop="description">Henry Schnell of Calgary, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the age of 98 years. Henry was born April 24, 1918 in Genesee, Alberta. He was the fifth of ten children born to Adam and Katherine Schnell. Following marriage to Grace Dubetz, Henry made his living in construction before becoming a pastor. He and Grace pastored Free Methodist churches in Ellice, Calgary, Oregon, Washington, and Saskatchewan eventually retiring to Calgary where they remained active in their church and community. Henry will be especially remembered for his love of music, a quick and rich sense of humor, hosting the Seniors’ Breakfasts, discussing theology and politics, and his “pastor’s heart”. Henry was predeceased by his loving wife, Grace, in 2012. He is survived by his son Keith Schnell of Calgary; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon and David Harris of Nampa, ID, and Merlette Schnell of Calgary; grandson Caleb Harris of Idaho; and by his sister Rachel Sanderson, brother-in-law Gerald Alexander, and sister-in-law Gloria Dubetz, as well as many nieces and nephews.</div>
