Regina Holmes
August 1, 1924 - April 1, 2017
HOLMES, Regina Marion
Our beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother passed away peacefully in her 93rd year on Saturday, April 1, 2017 with her family at her side. Regina is survived by her son, Lindsay; her daughter-in–law, Maureen; her granddaughter, Kerry-Anne; her brother, Jack (Norma); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Jack, her loving husband of 63 years on March 22, 2012 and by ten siblings. In respecting Mom’s wishes, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Reg's name to Father Lacombe Care Centre Foundation (270 Providence Blvd. SE Calgary AB T2X 0V6 or online at flccfoundation.ca). The family extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Bouchard and the staff at Father Lacombe for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Regina during her stay for the past 2 years, as well as to Dr. Watson and the staff at Unit 47 of the Rockyview General Hospital for their excellent care and extraordinary compassion during the past weeks.
