PATRICIA (PAT) MARGARET GIBSON (MAXWELL)
February 1, 1933 – October 16, 2016
Pat passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the age of 83 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Doug; three beautiful daughters, Cindy Cobb of Okotoks, Kathy Oddie (Tom) of Oklahoma and Sharon Crowell (Kirby) of Calgary; six grandchildren, Wyatt, Lauren, John, Matthew, Jenna and Ryan. She was predeceased by her parents John and Patricia Maxwell. Pat was proud of being raised in East Calgary (Ramsay) attending Ramsay School, Colonel Walker and Western Canada High School. She began her working career at Freeman Wilson and then Calgary Power (Trans Alta) where she met her husband Doug. The family would like to thank Dr. Geddes at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and all the staff at the Foothills Country Hospice for their compassionate care and support. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Eden Brook Funeral Home on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. If so desired, in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations please be made in Pat’s name to the Calgary Humane Society (www.calgaryhumane.ca/donate/).
