It is with much sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle at the age of 91 years. He is survived by: two sons, Dusan (Serbia), and Jovan (Calgary); grandchildren, Milena Josipovic and Milan Andjelic both residing in Australia; great-grandchildren: Nikola, Jovana, Marko and Bojana Josipovic all from Australia; brothers, Todor (Ruby) and Simo Andjelic and sister Ilinka Cenic (Dalmacija). Also left to cherish his memory are many nieces and nephews in Canada, Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia.
Mihajl is predeceased by his wife, Djuka in 1991; brother, Jovan Andjelic and sisters, Milica Petrovic and Draginja Radic. Mihajl was born in Uzdolje, Dalmacija (former Jugoslavija) where he lived until 1996 when he immigrated to Calgary.
Evening Prayer Service will be held at St. Simeon Serbian Orthodox Church (16025 243rd Avenue East, DeWinton, Alberta) on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Eden Brook Funeral Home (17th Avenue & Lower Springbank Road S.W.) on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Very Reverend Obrad Filipovic officiating. Interment to follow in the Garden of Faith, Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory directly to St. Simeon Serbian Orthodox Church
