December 17, 1922 – July 8, 2015
Jessie passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her three sons, Bill (Megan), Neil (Ira) and Scott (Carla); her grandchildren, Nathan, Carrie, Kyla, Hailey, Nixen, Jesse, Max and Zack; great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Hudson, Molly and Jacob, as well as other family and friends. Jessie was born in Brechin, ON, and after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, she moved to Alberta in the early 1940’s. She loved helping people, and family was her life’s joy; she developed many lifelong friends from doing her job. She was even instrumental in opening Calgary’s first emergency ward at the General Hospital. Jessie loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved her rum and Coke and no one did half a beer like Grandy did. She was a great mother, Grandy and great Grandy, she will be dearly missed and always in our hearts. Memorial Service will take place at the Earl Grey Golf Club (6540 - 20 Street SW Calgary, Alberta) on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 3:00 P.M.
