<div itemprop="description">Fred is survived by his loving wife Deane and his 3 children; Patti (Larry), Duncan, Colleen (Carey) and 1 grandson Codey. He was immensely proud of his children and all they accomplished. He was predeceased by his parents Vera and George. Fred was born in Calgary. He lived his early years on the farm with his sister Muriel Richards (Alvin) and brother Eric (Jeannette). Most of his schooling was in Calgary. He attended the U of A (Calgary Campus) where he graduated with his Bachelor of Education. Fred taught in Calgary for 33 years and 5 years with the Department of Education teaching the computer system to school districts around Alberta. Retiring in 1998. A Celebration of Life will be held at Wild Rose United Church (1317 - 1 Street NW, Calgary) on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to a Charity of one&rsquo;s choice or the Wild Rose United Church Memorial Fund.</div>
