<div itemprop="description">OBEE, Delilah <br>March 20, 1926 - June 11, 2016<br><br>Delilah (Lil) Obee died in Calgary on June 11, 2016, at the age of 90 . Born in Ivanovichi, Volhynia, Ukraine in 1926, Lil was brought to Canada by her parents, Assaf and Berta Weiss, in 1928, and went to school west of Wetaskiwin. In 1947 she married Brian Obee, who predeceased her in 2012; together, they lived in several communities in Alberta and British Columbia. Lil was a skilled needlewoman, and was passionate about knitting for the needy, devoting much of her time to providing warmth to those who needed it. She leaves her children Judy (Stephen Decarie), Lyn (Manfred Taron), Dave (Dixie Bambrick) and Holly, as well as seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. At her request, there will be no service.</div>
