TOWER, David Wayne
April 1, 1955 - December 29, 2016
David Tower, under the exceptional care of the staff of Bethany Care Centre 2 East, passed away on December 29, 2016 at the age of 61. He lives on in the hearts of his beloved wife Fiona, his daughters Julia (Matt), and Diana (Paco) and his grandchildren; Erik, Jack & Malcolm. Despite leaving us far too early, David’s life was bursting with accomplishments, love and generosity. With 22 years of serving as a fighter pilot with the RCAF, he received the honour of Top Gun while on exchange with the RAF in 1988. He later volunteered his time and expertise at the Fanning Center, Air Cadets, Calgary AeroSpace Museum, and was a active member of the Air Crew Association of Southern Alberta. When he wasn’t flying, David devoured M&Ms, Hickory sticks, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, anything Sushi and washed them down with Fresca.
So anyyyyways...we love you Dave!
Donations in Dave's memory can be made to Bethany Care Center at http://bethanyseniors.com/.
A Celebration of David’s life will take place at Eden Brook Funeral Home (17 Avenue and Lower Springbank Rd. SW, Calgary) on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:00p.m.
