WILL, BRIAN CHARLES
December 24, 1944 – April 07, 2017

Brian passed peacefully at home, as he wished, following a one year cancer diagnosis. He lived every day to its fullest and left a positive impression on all who met him. His gentle nature will be deeply missed by Marilyn, Carter and Stacey, Riley and Nikki, and very special grandchildren Allan, Mara, Alex and Ava. Also survived by sister Joan (John dec.) Farnham; brother and wife Ron and Bev Will; Bob (Elaine) Mjolsness; and Gail Howat (Wes Martin); nephews and nieces. Family was very important to Brian. He and Marilyn celebrated their 52 anniversary on April 3. Graduating from SAIT Mechanical Engineering Technologies in 1965, Brian began a long career of engineering creativity and entrepreneurship. He was extremely proud to establish BRC Engineering and Manufacturing with his sons in 1996. Brian experienced many ups and downs during his 50 years in the oil patch, but always persevered! Other passions were motorsport, hockey, skiing, biking, and travel. The loss of Brian will be felt by many dear friends and colleagues. The family wish to extend their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care of Drs. Don Buie and Scott Dowden, nurse Charlene, FH nursing staff (units 36 and 47), the Community Paramedic Team, Aspen Landing Safeway pharmacists, and the Palliative Home Care Team, particularly Andrea O’Brien and Dr. David Falk.
