Born in Langham, Saskatchewan in 1921, Brian lived most of his life in several communities in Alberta and British Columbia, where he worked in the lumber industry. He lived in Calgary since 1986. He was a fine chap, a friend to all who met him, and a proud member of the Masonic Lodge for many years. He was the last of his generation of Obees. In 1947 he married Lil (Delilah) Weiss, who survives him. He also leaves his children Judith (Stephen Decarie), Marilyn (Manfred Taron), David (Dixie Bambrick) and Holly, as well as seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
